Children at Dubai Hotel Pools: Child Rates, Age Bands and Kids' Clubs
In summary
Child rates at Dubai hotel pools vary by age band. Fairmont The Palm charges AED 75 on weekdays for ages 6 to 12 and lets under-sixes in free; Delano Dubai charges AED 150 for ages 4 to 11, with under-fours free; Jumeirah Beach Hotel charges AED 300 for ages 4 to 12, including AED 200 of food credit. Some beach clubs are adults-only, and kids' clubs are usually charged separately.
Key takeaways
- Free-entry ages differ: under 4 at Delano Dubai, under 6 at Fairmont The Palm and Amara Spa.
- Child bands differ too: 4–11, 4–12, 6–12 or 6–15 depending on the hotel.
- Some venues have adults-only pools even when the beach is family-friendly.
- Kids' clubs are often extra: Fairmont The Palm charges AED 85 per child per hour.
- Dubai Municipality advises constant supervision of children at the beach.
Fairmont The Palm lets children under six into its family pool for free and charges AED 75 on weekdays for ages 6 to 12. A few kilometres away, Delano Dubai lets under-fours in free but charges anyone aged 12 or over the full adult rate. Every hotel sets its own age bands, so the same family can pay very different amounts for a day by the pool.

Family cabanas
Larger groups sometimes pay less per head with a cabana. Delano Dubai's Family Cabana costs AED 1,800 for two adults and three children, with 50% redeemable on food and drink.
Adults-only areas
A hotel or beach club can be family-friendly in one area and adults-only in another. FACT lists Tagomago on Palm Jumeirah with a family-friendly beach and an adults-only pool, and at W Dubai – The Palm the WET Deck is adults-only while the WET pool and beach are family-friendly. Venues such as Fluid Beach Club (18-plus) and Kyma Beach (21-plus) are adults-only throughout. Spa pools often are too: Talise Spa's pool at Jumeirah Al Qasr is adults-only.
Kids' clubs
Kids' clubs are usually separate from the pool pass. Fairmont The Palm's Falcon Kids Club takes children aged 18 months to 12 years, daily from 10:30am to 7pm, at AED 85 per child per hour, and advance booking is mandatory. Staying guests with children aged 3 to 12 get two free hours a day. Dubai Creek Resort lists a Kids Club open from 10am to 6pm; its day-pass page does not say whether the pass covers it.
Supervision and safety
Hotel pools set their own supervision rules, so ask at the desk. On Dubai's public beaches, Dubai Municipality asks visitors to monitor children constantly and follow lifeguards' instructions. For more on public beaches, see our guide to beach clubs and public beaches.
