Pool and Beach Day Passes in Dubai: How They Work

The Wellbeing Voice Desk · 30 Oct 2026

In summary

Dubai hotels sell pool and beach day passes to non-guests, usually with part or all of the price redeemable on food and drink. Raffles The Palm charges AED 250 on weekdays and AED 300 at weekends, with AED 150 redeemable. Jumeirah Beach Hotel charges AED 600 on weekdays including AED 400 credit. Fairmont The Palm's family pool pass is AED 150 Monday to Thursday, with under-sixes free.

Pool and Beach Day Passes in Dubai

Key takeaways

At Raffles The Palm, a pool and beach day pass costs AED 250 per adult on weekdays and AED 300 at weekends, and each includes AED 150 to spend on food and drink. At Jumeirah Beach Hotel, an adult weekday pass is AED 600 with AED 400 of food credit. Most Dubai hotel day passes follow this model: you pay an entry price, and some or all of it comes back as credit.

How the credit works

Credit is normally tied to one outlet. Jumeirah Beach Hotel's adult and child credit is redeemable at Nuska Beach Restaurant. Delano Dubai's credit can only be used at its Pool & Beach venue. Unspent credit is not described as refundable on any of these pages, so plan to use it during the day.

Beach clubs work the same way. FACT Magazine's July 2026 round-up lists dozens of examples: Bla Bla Dubai in JBR at AED 200 Monday to Friday and AED 300 at weekends, fully redeemable; Riva Beach Club on Palm Jumeirah with a fully redeemable pool-only pass but a pool-and-beach pass that gives 20% off food and soft drinks instead of credit.

Weekdays are not the same everywhere

Jumeirah Beach Hotel treats Monday to Friday as weekdays. Fairmont The Palm and Delano Dubai treat only Monday to Thursday as weekdays and charge weekend rates from Friday. Fairmont also charges weekend rates on public holidays, and Jumeirah Beach Hotel on holidays and festive days. A Friday visit can cost more than you expect.

Children and adults-only areas

Child age bands vary: 4 to 11 at Delano (12 and over pay the adult rate), 4 to 12 at Jumeirah Beach Hotel and 6 to 12 at Fairmont The Palm. Some venues are adults-only. FACT lists Fluid Beach Club at TH8 Palm as 18 and over, Kyma Beach at Palm West Beach as 21 and over, and several venues where the beach is family-friendly but the pool is adults-only, such as Tagomago on Palm Jumeirah.

Frequently asked questions

What does 'fully redeemable' mean on a Dubai day pass?
It means the entry price is returned as credit to spend on food and drink at the venue. Partly redeemable passes return only some of it: Raffles The Palm's AED 250 weekday pass includes AED 150 of credit, and Delano Dubai's adult passes include 50% as credit.
Are children allowed on pool day passes?
Often, at a lower rate. Fairmont The Palm charges AED 75 on weekdays for ages 6 to 12 and lets under-sixes in free; Delano Dubai charges AED 150 for ages 4 to 11. Some beach clubs, such as Fluid Beach Club (18 and over), are adults-only.
