Spa Day Passes in Dubai: What They Typically Include
In summary
Dubai hotel spa day passes fall into two broad types: facilities-only passes and packages that include a treatment. Saray Spa at JW Marriott Marquis charges AED 120 on weekdays and AED 180 at weekends for gym, wellness and pool access; Amara Spa at Dubai Creek Resort charges AED 200 and AED 250. Talise Spa's Wellness Day Pass at Jumeirah Al Qasr costs AED 850 on weekdays and AED 980 at weekends and includes a 60-minute massage.
Key takeaways
- Facilities-only passes cover sauna, steam room, pool and often the gym; treatments cost extra.
- Treatment packages bundle a massage with pool or beach access and sometimes a food credit.
- Weekend rates are higher, and each hotel defines 'weekend' differently.
- Spa treatments often have minimum ages; JW Marriott Marquis lists treatments for over-18s.
- Book ahead: several spas recommend or require advance booking for treatments.
A spa day pass at Saray Spa in JW Marriott Marquis Dubai costs AED 120 on weekdays and AED 180 at weekends and covers the hotel's gym, wellness and pool facilities. At the other end, Talise Spa's Wellness Day Pass at Jumeirah Al Qasr costs AED 850 on weekdays and includes a 60-minute massage. The gap between those two prices is mostly the treatment, and knowing which kind of pass you are buying avoids surprises at the spa desk.
Two kinds of pass
Facilities-only passes give you the thermal areas, pool and changing rooms for the day. Treatments are booked and paid for separately.
Treatment packages bundle a massage or hammam with facility, pool or beach access, and sometimes a food and drink credit. They cost more but usually work out cheaper than buying the treatment and day access separately.

What is usually included
- Heat and water facilities: sauna and steam room appear in almost every pass listed above. Talise adds warm and cold plunge pools.
- Pool access: Amara and Saray include the hotel pool. Talise lets pass holders choose between the Jumeirah Al Qasr main pool and the Jumeirah Mina Al Salam infinity pool.
- Gym: included at Saray Spa and Amara Spa. Not every package includes it: the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach summer 2025 spa package (AED 800 weekdays, AED 900 weekends) stated that gym access was not included.
- Food credit: some passes carry one. Amara's offer page says its pass is redeemable on food and drink at the spa pool outlet; the Four Seasons 2025 package included AED 150 of credit.
Rules worth checking
Weekend definitions differ. Talise prices Monday to Friday as weekdays and Saturday and Sunday as weekends. Amara applies its higher rate to weekends and public holidays.
Age limits. JW Marriott Marquis lists spa treatments for guests over 18 and facials for over-16s. Talise Spa's own pool is adult-only. Amara sells child passes for ages 6 to 15 (AED 100 on weekdays, AED 125 at weekends) and gives under-sixes complimentary pool access.
One pass, one person. Four Seasons' 2025 package stated that pool and beach access applied only to the person who booked; companions had to buy their own package.
Booking. Amara recommends booking in advance. Four Seasons required spa appointments to be booked in advance, with check-in at the spa. Treatment slots are limited, so a pass with a massage is harder to get on the day than a facilities-only pass.
Before you book
- Ask whether the price includes a treatment, and how long it is.
- Confirm which pools, the gym and the beach are included.
- Check what counts as a weekend and whether public holidays cost more.
- Check age rules for children and for treatments.
- Ask whether any food and drink credit applies, and where it can be spent.
- Browse hotels and spas in our Directory.
For general information. Prices, inclusions and hours can change; check with the hotel or spa before you book.
