Camelicious lists more than 6,000 camels. The tour covers supervised camel feeding, how camel milk is produced, and a tasting of fresh and flavoured milk and camel-milk ice cream. A family ticket for two adults and one child is AED 250. Tickets are non-refundable, late arrivals are not admitted, and closed-toe shoes are advised for uneven ground. To get there, take Exit 26 from the E66 towards Madinat Hind 3.
Hatta Honeybee Garden and Discovery Centre sits in the Hajar mountains. The AED 50 ticket covers an educational tour and a tasting of Hatta honey products. The minimum age is three, children aged 11 and under must be with an adult, and groups are capped at 50. Book at least one day ahead and wear shoes rather than sandals. Pair it with the trails in our Hatta active weekend guide.
Towards Abu Dhabi
Mazaraa Farm in Al Bahia is about 20 minutes from central Abu Dhabi. The AED 25 adult ticket includes entry, a basket of animal feed, juice and popcorn. Visitors can feed horses, camels, goats, cows and ducks, join guided tours on sustainable farming, and take part in harvesting and planting. Horse or carriage rides are AED 20. Property Finder says children under 12 enter free, though its fee table also shows AED 15, so confirm at the gate.
Gracia Farms, also in Al Bahia, reopened for its 2024 season on 15 October with a petting zone, horse riding, play area and café, The National reported. It did not list fees; check the farm's own channels for this season.
Towards Al Ain
Emirates Bio Farm in Al Shuwaib, about an hour from Dubai, offers self-guided walks through roughly 250,000 square metres of organic fields, animal feeding, a barrel ride for children, a farm shop and a restaurant using farm produce. Visit Al Ain says hours vary by season. In October 2024 The National reported it would open daily from 9am to 5pm once the season began, with hand-harvesting of vegetables such as beetroot, carrot and kale.
